The Echoes Collection began with a single song—an engagement gift for my wife, Amy. I had written the lyrics straight from the heart and hired a gifted musician to bring them to life. The moment I heard those words sung back to me, I was hooked.

I’ve never claimed to be musically gifted—that talent runs deep in my children—but I’ve always believed in the power of words. For me, lyrics were a way to say what couldn’t always be spoken. Being a bit of a tech geek, I eventually discovered the possibilities of AI music technology, and something clicked. With Amy by my side, we began experimenting—turning words into lyrics, and then those lyrics into songs. That’s how Echoes of Lake Erie was born.

I spent countless hours writing about the lake, the islands, and our treasured family memories on Catawba Island along the shores of Lake Erie. Curiosity soon became passion. I wanted to understand the process—how to bring an album from the lyrics in my head to the streaming world—and once I figured it out, there was no looking back. Echoes of Lake Erie was released online and is now available on Apple Music, Amazon Music and Spotify, marking the beginning of what would soon become much more than a hobby—it became a personal testimony.

I am a broken man who, through God’s grace and Amy’s love, is walking a path toward redemption. I have redefined my purpose, my priorities, and my understanding of truth, love, and forgiveness.

My second album, Echoes of Redemption, was born from that path. Like my first, it’s available to stream online—but for me, it’s more than music. It’s a testimony of a man learning to be honest, forgiven, and renewed. I haven’t stopped writing, because it’s good for my soul.

At times, I still feel vulnerable, embarrassed, even ashamed about my past and now my willingness to share it with others. But if one man somewhere out there—someone carrying the same burdens—hears a song and finds hope, then the words have done their work.

I want to publicly thank my wife, Amy. I won’t begin to describe the pain and disappointment I caused her, but I will say this: she is extraordinary. Every song I’ve written, she’s been there. Every echo of grace and redemption carries her name.

My lyrical journey has now taken on a name of its own: Echoes of Redemption Music—a reminder of why all of this began. My prayer is that for some, my music catches an ear; for others, it brings a smile; and for a few, it makes a difference.

What began as a simple way of expressing myself has grown into a living archive of songs, stories, and memories—each one an echo of the moments, people, and places that have shaped my life. Through The Echoes Collection, I hope to preserve not only my own emotions and words, but the legacy of love, loss, and life itself—so that those who come after can still hear what once was.
